Atlantic Food & Beverage Processors Association

The Atlantic Food & Beverage Association has demonstrated that it can indeed play a key role on behalf of the industry and has grown the number of courses and events that it hosts from a few per year to fifteen in 2007. It has also expanded its communication lists and now sends e-mail and mail-out information to over 400 organizations. It is in regular communication with various agencies and receives many phone calls and e-mail messages from across the country. It is financially strong and intends to stay so.

Atlantic Canada Tourism Industry Association – Visitor Satisfaction Survey

In keeping with consumer expectations of having a "quality experience," the Atlantic Canada Tourism Industry Association Caucus is offering a Visitor Satisfaction Program for tourism operators in Atlantic Canada. The program allows visitors to rate their experience at tourism operations throughout Atlantic Canada and enables operators to learn more about their individual strengths and weaknesses.

Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber's over 800 members reflect a diverse network of small, medium and large businesses from almost every industry sector and business profession. Through service on the Chamber Board, a Chamber Committee, or a Task Force, members express their views, direct and shape the activities and programs of the Chamber. The Chamber is financed through membership investment.

The Chamber accomplishes collectively what no business can do alone. The Chamber's primary role is advocacy. It represents its membership on issues affecting business and the community including: the provincial, federal and municipal budgets, economic development issues, infrastructure and transportation issues, and other areas that affect the members- ability to grow and prosper.
